Lovely Maple & Market at Cassia Crescent, Singapore

Marple & Market is another lovely cafe in a HDB block. It is located a short walk from the Old Airport Road Food Centre.

The interior has a mixed of modern and vintage elements.

Many different ornaments are placed at different part of the cafe creating a very homely feel.

It serves cakes, waffles and coffee. I noticed a very interesting cake, Gula Melaka with Kaya. I bought back a slice home to try and also a slice of red velvet cake home.

I wonder why the staff did not ask me if I want the two slices to be packed separatedly, interestingly she offered it to other customers. Why so sub-standard huh? Just kidding. I am fine with the two slices packed together anyway. Go green.

I like the quietness of the cafe. The waffle and coffee were decent. The waffle with banana was served without a scoop of vanilla ice cream which I always preferred to have it with.

After all, it is still a cafe good for spending time alone or hanging out with friends.
