Adorable Hatched at Holland Village

Hatched is on Holland Avenue, basically it is in the vicinity of Holland Village. Everything in Hatched is revolved around Eggs and some Chicken. Once you entered the cafe, you see lots of accessories of eggs & chicken, very adorable.

Even the menu is all about eggs. They have scrambled eggs, poached eggs, omelette. I don’t remember seeing sunny side up though.

In most cafe, the eggs come in pair but in Hatched, you can order one egg instead. This is good for small eater like me, so we don’t have to waste food. I did not order my favourite Cappuccino as I have my caffeine craving fixed in the morning.

The poached egg was perfect. The yolk was still runny while egg white was just cooked. I like the mashed potato. The mashed potato is pretty much like mashing up your baked potato. I can still chew the tiny bites, very “potato-flavourful”. They have topped the potato with some creamy mushroom. With these creamy mushroom, the potato taste so much more interesting. You no longer are eating plain potato. I like it very much. The muffin is an ordinary one, no “Wow” factor, acceptable. I ordered an ice honey lemon tea, with honey added, the drink is different from other cafe. I always like my tea with honey so choosing the drink is no brainer. A great choice and I like.

On the whole, it was a lovable cafe with good food and pleasant ambience. Good cafe for those who love their eggs or are craving for eggs and in urgent need to indulge in eggs.
