Woodshed Cafe is at a quiet end of Rangoon Road. Though close to CTE, expressway, you neither see the action nor hear the noise. It’s very much like at a paradise of its own.
Once you entered the cafe, you see a modern design with a counter for ordering, drink making and billing cashier. As you walk ‘deeper’ into the cafe, you will see a different design. The seating area is with mixed and match furnitures.
They have wisely used shelf to create partion and to create a private space.
What I like best about the cafe is the cakes and pastry they served. There are lime and lemon tart, Red Velvet and a very interesting toffee banana cake.
I tried their lemon tart. The tart is with chocolate biscuit tart base. The lemon jam has a good balance of sweet and sour taste. Tasty. I loved the coffee too. It has a chocolaty milk and a little spice hint.
WoodShed is very considerate. They provide ice and hot water, servette, newspaper, magazine for self-service and also WiFi. They have provided almost everything you will required for hanging out at the cafe. A very nice gesture.
