I chanced upon Ying’s Blossom Dessert when I was roaming around Yau Ma Tei after dinner. Intending to walk back to my hotel at Mongkok.
It is a pleasant little dessert hut in the quiet street, along Woosung street.
Like all other desserts shop in Hong Kong, Ying’s Blossom serve a wide range of desserts, ranging from Traditional Chinese Style to some fancy items like shaven ice.
An old couple seated next to me, after finishing their dessert, kept looking at the menu and the senior folks kept saying they should try this and that dessert the next time. It captured even the heart of the young and old.
I chose the classic dessert and something which I always enjoy, the Mango Pomelo Dessert. The mango dessert is not very sweet and there were lots of pomelo and sago added. What I like best is the big chunk and generous amount of sweet mango added into this lovely dish.
It was a great find. I enjoy this dessert. It was a great way to end my day.
