Choi Kee Restaurant was kinda next to the hotel I stayed and I wanted to try during my last trip but this not managed to. This trip, my colleague suggested to have lunch there so that was great.
This Cha Chaan Teng, restaurant, serve typical food found in every Cha Chaan Teng. You can find lots of variety.
We have four in total, so we each ordered a dish to share.
The Stirred Fried Beef Rice Noodle was extremely oily. Some part was bland while the some other part was tasty. The good part was it wasn’t extremely salty.
The Curry was sweetish, tasted like the Japanese Curry. It was ok, though not great.
As for the Sweet and Sour Pork, it has a great balance of the sweet and sour taste. I think this is quite a yummy dish as well. But they used very fatty meat. I prefer leaner meat.
I like the Fried Omelette with mixed ingredients best. In the fried Omelette, there were bean sprouts, ham, chinese sausages and onions. It was yummy.
Overall, Choi Kee Restaurant serve tasty homemade tasting food. The restaurant is very squeezy. Tables are placed very closely to each other so it is definitely not a place for diners to seat comfortably and talk while enjoying the food. A good place to have a fast decent meal nevertheless.
