Laffio Cafe At Beach Road

Laffio (Laugh It Out) Cafe nestled along Beach Road has a hipster vibes. That’s the first feel when we stepped into the cafe.

But soon after, when I settled down and looked around, I feel that I am in little hut which is next to a big tree of a little village.

Laffio has a rather wide range of food. You can find breakfast food, steak, salmon, pasta, salad, snacks.

Since we were there after lunch, so our focus was very much on drinks and desserts. I was rather disappointed with the offering. There is only waffles but waffles. We went ahead to order our coffee and the Buttermilk Waffles with Earl Grey Caramel and Vanilla Ice Cream.

What I like about the waffle is the earl grey caramel. It has a very good balance of earl grey and caramel and it wasn’t too sweet. The entire combination of the earl grey caramel blend very well with the vanilla ice cream and paired very well with the waffle. The waffle is more of the soft fluffy kind, not the bread like kind and it doesn’t has a good crispy outer edge. This isn’t a bad thing either. Overall, a pretty delicious waffle. Not the best though.

The coffee was good. It has a low acidity, medium body with a unique taste, a little tangy and fruity and some nutty, honey hint.

A nice cafe with decent food and good coffee. It is certainly a good cafe to spend some time either alone or with some friends.
