The Tiny Roaster At Clementi

The Tiny Roaster at Clementi occupies a corner of a HDB block and it is indeed tiny and so the name is very apt.

Despite its size, the cafe is pretty comfy though there isn’t any cushy chair. It has a contemporary design which I quite like it.

This cafe offers only coffee. You won’t find any food, not even a cookies. They have a pretty simple menu with only white or black coffee, cold or hot and there are 2 Coffee Dessert. For the menu, click here.

I ordered a White Brew. The coffee is of a medium body, medium to low acidity and I find it lacking of aroma and the taste is pretty flat. I didn’t quite like the coffee.

Something interesting about their Ice Brew is that they use a coffee ice. I mean they freeze the coffee to become an ice cube. I really think this is a great idea. I have been hoping to see some cafe doing so, finally … … I found.

Tiny Roaster has a nice ambience and certainly good for solo cafe-goer to spend time alone, relaxing and sipping coffee.  The cafe is not a good spot for large groups of friends gathering.
