Beegurt is a shop specialises in Frozen Yogurt with Honeycomb, located at a corner at Thomson V Two. It is pretty easy to locate it. It is located a few shops on the right of the now defunct Oz Specialty Coffee.
The shop sells only frozen yogurt with various toppings and one of the featured topping is the Raw Honeycomb. Something different about Beegurt is the fruit topping they used. It was frozen; very refreshing when eaten together with the frozen yogurt. I like it very much. It reminded me of the Frozen Pineapple I ate at Cheung Chau Islang, Hong Kong.
Menu was simple, you choose either the Beegurt’s Special that has Raw Honeycomb with 2 toppings, Small cup (1 topping), Medium cup (3 toppings) or Large Cup (3 toppings).
I was there with my brother. My brother, very conservative with what he eats, did not choose the Beegurt Special but went for the Medium cup. I like trying new stuff so I went for the Special. The yogurt it sweeter than IlaoIlao and it is as smooth as IlaIlao. For those who like sweeter yogurt would prefer this. I like the combination of Frozen Yogurt and the Raw Honeycomb.
Beegurt has a small space with a few simple tables and chairs for dinning in. It is very much for takeaway. It has nice delish yogurt but I feel that it is a little more pricey than IlaoIlao but I won’t mind having it for the Raw Honeycomb sake.
It seems that frozen yogurt is about to take Singapore by storm.
