FOC Spanish Restaurant At Hong Kong Street Singapore, Superb

I have been wanting to try FOC Spanish Restaurant but didn’t find the right company till recently. In fact, my friend and I wanted to go down on Wednesday but FOC was fully booked due to a special menu they were having on that day. Luckily my friend insisted on trying so instead of changing venue, we postponed our meetup to the next day. Definitely a wise decision.

My friend always love to order a Latte, either iced or hot before a meal. Without failed, she ordered an Iced Latte. She didn’t find the Latte good. But that didn’t dampen her spirit for the coming dishes.

Usually, we will go for seafood dishes but she has dietary restriction for now. The first tapas served was the Ham Croquette. It was extremely flavourful. We enjoyed it.

The next Tapas served was the Deep Fried Potato with Garlic Mayonnaise and Spicy Sauce (Patata bravas). The potato aroma was strong and the sauces were well compliment with the potato. It was superb.

I was enticed by the Seafood Paella, can’t help but to order it though my friend will have to abstinent for now. The rice was full of seafood flavour. They have chopped up the squid to tiny pieces, to the size of the rice and added to the rice. Absolutely awesome. The garlic mayonnaise enhanced the paella.

We ordered a beef steak as well but as I was too busy enjoying the Paella, I forgot to take a photo. It is certainly delish, tender beef.

Finally, dessert time. We decided to have the Apple Pie (Tarta Tatin). The apple puree with some apple dices was shaped into an apple , topped onto a thin buttery pastry, paired with a creamy vanilla ice cream with some oreo like biscuit chip by the surrounding. Extremely marvellous.

Before the end of our meal, while we were having our dessert, we were discussing when to come back to have more dose of the food. LOL.
