Honeycomb, Milk Softserve & Froyo, By Stateland

Stateland has jumped onto the latest food trend, introducing the Honeycomb with both Soft Serve and Frozen Yogurt. And it is with the ever hype of Honeycomb.

Honeycomb took over the former Stateland Cafe with no change in design, that I see that it was a great strategy as most of the patrons would still automatically walked into the cafe. This happen twice in the short 30 minutes while I was there. While Stateland Cafe has shifted to its right.

There are five creations of flavours; Classic (with just either milk soft serve or froyo), Caramel, Chocolate, Matcha and Apple & Cinnamon. Besides the toppings and sauce in each creation, every cups consist of a 5 ml Honey syringe and a reasonably sized Honeycomb. You have the best of both world. You could overly indulged in Honey!

I couldn’t resist myself for not trying both. So I first have the Caramel in Milk Soft Serve. The sauce is actually Salted Caramel, drizzled on the soft serve with Honeycomb and Honey as toppings.

The milk soft serve is milky in taste with pretty good creaminess level but not as smooth and a little sweeter (especially when comparing with Honey Creme). With the caramel, you can imagine how sweet it can get. For sweet sweet tooth, this is definitely for you.

Matcha with Froyo

For the Froyo, I chose Matcha. It has Matcha & Almond Granola. The Matcha flavour is lightly coated on the Almond Granola. I hardly could taste the Matcha flavour. But the Granola went very well with the Froyo. The Froyo is slightly sourish and creamy.

After trying both the Froyo and Milk Soft Serve from Honeycomb, I prefer the Froyo to the Milk Soft Serve as the Milk Soft Serve is a little too sweet for me. I like their creation as it has both the Honey and Honeycomb. Since no queue and it has comfortable seats, I am sure I will return for more.
