Capitol Cafe is within the roof of The Working Capitol, a coworking workspace with desk for rental, for a day ($50 per desk) or for a month ($750 per desk).
I hopped over to the Capitol Cafe for lunch on a weekday.
It has a very limited food menu, with mainly bread items. I must say, it has the most boring menu. And I only spotted 2 cakes; a Carrot Cake and a Brownie.
I still proceeded to order a Sandwich, Beef Pastrami Sandwich on Ciabatta for lunch. It was a simple sandwich with melted cheese and tomato slices on one side of the bread and mustard spread on the bottom half, sandwiched with beef pastrami and lettuce. The bread proved too tough for my jaw.
The coffee seems to be a blend. I was surprised by the strong flavour notes of both dark and milk chocolate, nutty and berry. It was a medium to low acidity and a full body cuppa.
Capitol Cafe has a pretty huge space with good spacing between the tables. As it doesn’t offer much munch, I feel that it is a cafe more for a coffee when you feel like it. And maybe a good space for working too as it provides free Wifi.
