I have been hearing and reading a lot about Stateland Cafe and especially about its waffles. And since I am craving for waffles, Stateland Cafe at Bali Lane, near Bugis, is the place.
Stateland Cafe has created a number of different waffles. From the original ones to the innovate and creative type. If you like marshmallow, you can try the S’mores Waffle. I chose the Red Velvet Waffles this round.
If you like crispy waffles, Stateland Cafe is definitely the go to place. Their waffle is so crispy even the inside of the waffle is crispy too. The Red Velvet waffles is extremely chocolaty as well. The waffles has lots of chocolate flake on it too. They have topped it with, not sure if it is some raspberry or cherry, anyway, I am certain it is some berries on top of the vanilla ice cream. It is quite sour if you eat it alone but it will balance out the sweetness from the waffle, chocolate flakes and ice cream.
Stateland Cafe serves great coffee too. The coffe has a balance of acidity and body. My lunch at Stateland Cafe has satisfied my craving for waffles. A smiley customer walking out of Stateland Cafe after lunch.
